Industrial Medicine and Work Injuries
Gravelly Lake Chiropractic and
naturopathic Medical Clinic has an Industrial Medicine Program for area companies. The set up of our Physical Medicine Facility and the expansion of our Emergency Chiropractic Department allows us to treat work related injuries. We also provide pre-employment physicals inclusive of a complete history and exam, orthopedic and structural exam, as well as drug and alcohol screenings. Dr. Young readily accepts workers compensation (Labor & Industries) injuries. Along with his staff, he will help you fill out the proper claim forms, send the forms to the proper claim manager, and will also provide the claim manager with any needed reports.
Many people feel that they should immediately get an attorney to help them through the maze of questions and forms. Dr. Young's professional staff will be happy to assist you in submitting your claim even if you do not have an attorney. If you do decide to use an attorney, we will assist the attorney by sending any needed reports or copies of charts and records upon request.
Dr. Young actively works with several companies to provide chiropractic, physical rehabilitation, massage therapy, and naturopathic medicine to workers and others hurt on-the-job.
WORK INJURIES
Dr. Young and all of the medical, physical therapy, massage therapy and chiropractic members of Lakewood Family Medicine and Chiropractic are registered as providers with Washington Labor and Industries. No more travelling to different offices for medical exams, chiropractic treatment, or physical therapy. It is all here, under one roof and in one treatment plan.
Even if your are not sure that your injury is indeed due to a work place accident or repetitive use trauma, your first visit with Dr. Young will be paid for while your claim manager makes the appropriate decision.
Dr. Young has, in his office, the claim forms for new injury claims as well as the applications needed to reopen old claims that have become worse.
TIME LOSS
If your claim involves time off from work while you are recovering from your injury, Dr. Young can provide your claim manage the appropriate certification forms in order for you to get paid accurately and timely.
It is a bad enough situation to be injured and out of work, you do not want to have to wait and worry about your time loss check so that you can pay your families bills.

Treatment for work injuries with Dr. Young is 100% covered by your Labor & Industry claim. You will be notified before any treatment if there is the possibility of no coverage.
